Acti 5 Multifunctional Chlorine Granules

These granules provide an easy way to maintain chlorine levels in your swimming pool. They are specially formulated to prevent bacteria growth, discourage algae, provide continuous clarification, stabilise against chlorine loss to sunlight and reduce amount of chlorine consumed.

Instructions

1. The pH level should be within the range 7.2 – 7.6, if the level is outside this range please adjust before proceeding.
2. The chlorine level in your pool must be between 1.5 – 3mg/l (ppm). If your chlorine level is below this, then shock dose the pool using Acti Rapid Shock Granules.
3. Because of the quality of this product it can be dosed directly into the swimming pool without pre-dissolving providing the temperature of the water is above 20°C.
For pool water temperature below 20°C or non circulating water, this product should be pre-dissolved in a clean and un-contaminated plastic bucket and distributed evenly around the pool.

3. This product can be applied in one of three ways:

Skimmer Application

Place 1 Multifunctional Chlorine Tablet in the skimmer per 45.45m3 (10,000 gallons) of pool water, adjust number of tablets placed in skimmer as necessary to maintain chlorine level of 1.5 – 3mg/l (ppm). Typically these tablets will dissolve over a 2 – 4 day period, repeat dose when tablets are fully dissolved.
Note: skimmer application is not advised on any pools with heating devices unless the filtration system is running continuously.

Floating Dispenser Application

Fill the dispenser with Multifunctional Chlorine Tablets and regulate dose rate with the mechanism on the dispenser or by varying the quantity of tablets in the dispenser to maintain chlorine level of 1.5 – 3mg/l (ppm).

Chlorine Feeder Application

Place Multifunctional Chlorine Tablets in the feeder and follow the feeder’s instruction manual on regulating the flow to maintain chlorine level of 1.5 – 3mg/l (ppm).
